Your Rights as a Patient
These rights are based on international patient rights frameworks, including the WHO Declaration on Patient Safety and the European Charter of Patients' Rights.
Right to Information
You have the right to receive clear, complete, and understandable information about your diagnosis, proposed treatment, expected outcomes, potential risks, and alternative options — in a language you understand.
Right to Informed Consent
No treatment will be administered without your freely given, informed consent. You will receive a detailed treatment proposal and have the opportunity to ask questions before making any decisions. You may withdraw consent at any time.
Right to Privacy & Confidentiality
Your medical information is strictly confidential. No medical data will be shared with third parties without your explicit consent. All medical records are stored securely and accessed only by authorized personnel involved in your care.
Right to Interpretation Services
Professional medical interpreters are available at no additional cost in Arabic, English, Turkish, French, German, Russian, Portuguese, Chinese, and Spanish — ensuring you fully understand your treatment at every stage.
Right to Medical Records
You have the right to access your complete medical records, including diagnostic results, treatment notes, and discharge summaries. A comprehensive medical report is provided upon completion of your treatment program.
Additional Rights
Right to refuse treatment at any time without prejudice to future care
Right to a second opinion from another specialist
Right to be treated with dignity, respect, and cultural sensitivity
Right to have family members or companions present during consultations
Right to receive culturally appropriate food (halal, vegetarian, kosher)
Right to religious accommodation — prayer spaces and worship access
Right to transparent, itemized billing with no hidden charges
Right to file a complaint and receive a timely, fair response
Right to telemedicine follow-up after returning to your home country
Right to have your medical report shared with your home-country physician
