Heberprot-P is a Cuban biotechnology product — a recombinant human Epidermal Growth Factor (hEGF) administered by intralesional injection for complex diabetic foot ulcers. Developed by Havana's Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (CIGB), it treats wounds that have not responded to conventional therapy.

Indicated for diabetic foot ulcers classified as Wagner grade 2–4 that have not responded to standard wound care. Adequate blood supply to the affected area is required. Contraindications include malignancy in the wound area, evaluated case by case.
